Best Minecraft Builds: The Coolest Constructions You Need To See

You can take a tour of Minecraft's best builds without having to eat or stay in any way. This list will take the you to Middle-earth (Tamriel), Tamriel, and even RMS Titanic while still getting you home in enough time for tea. The collection contains everything you would expect from a selection of the best Minecraft seed and skins.

The best Minecraft builds are:

Imperial Summer Palace Fallingwater House

Minas Tirith

Imperial Summer Palace

The Imperial Summer Palace draws its inspiration from many of Europe's most renowned buildings, including Schonbrunn Palace, Versailles, St. Petersburg's Hermitage, and others. It is elegant from the outside as well as inside, with its beautiful gardens complementing the vast, luxurious interiors.

Fallingwater House

It just so happens that Minecraft suits Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, one of the most unique homes ever built. If you need a hand getting to your new water retreat, here's how to make a boat in Minecraft.

This interpretation by Lilnekochan is our favourite, but then there's the NovocainStain one and the Waterijsje one.

The Titanic

Similarly, there are many Minecraft mega builds of the Titanic out there, including this one built way back in the alpha days of Mojang's sandbox, but we like this French interpretation the best as it shows off the most colour and detail.

Minas Tirith

There are many things that inspire us in high fantasy, as well as real-world architecture. Take this fantastic Minas Tirith render, for example, which is as beautiful as it is imposing.

It was posted by u/Cornbass to reddit and, in addition to their appreciation, the community also offered their suggestions: “Now set yourself on fire and jump off.”

Minecraft Middle-earth

The only thing that could impress us more would be if someone started work on a Minecraft build that encompassed the whole of Middle-earth itself, all those famous locations from the... wait, what? Are you serious?

We are sorry, but this Middle-earth project has just begun. It is, however, not yet complete, and it's already one the best Minecraft servers you'll find.

No collection of magnificent Minecraft builds would be complete without something inspired by Game of Thrones. Here's just one small section of the enormous and awe-inspiring WesterosCraft server.

Pictured above is the city of Sunspear, rendered with a particularly attractive and very reflective sea surface. You should also check out King's Landing, Minecraft's amazing work.

Consilium

Then there's the Dwarven City of Consilium, by Creolucis, whose construction is so magnificent that it's difficult for us to just pick one single picture that shows off just how awesome a Minecraft map it is. It's massive, and the dictionary definition for grandeur.

Adamantis

How does a Minecraft megabuild with sixty million blocks sound like? The boundaries were really pushed back by jamdelaney1, who spent three months creating the expansive city of Adamantis.

This huge metropolis rises up a hillside and is decorated with massive doors, reflecting pools and large colonnades. It has nothing to do the 80s new wave artist.

Mage's College of Meridia

Adamantis brings to mind the Mages College of Meridia. A cool Minecraft build that Block Fortress put together last year, Block Fortress took its cues directly from Skyrim’s College of Winterhold. Perhaps it even out-magics Minecraft Pottercraft.

The Shining maze

What better way to lose yourself than in Minecraft? This labyrinth was designed by redditor ChrisP and is basically a Minecraft maze taken from The Shining. This is the hotel from Stanley Kubrick’s horror film, but it's impressive enough as is.

New Port Notch

In recent history, New Port Notch has become one of the most well-known Minecraft projects out there - so much so it spawned its own subreddit. The towering city was built by LG193 (and ThatDutchLad) It's so huge that you'll need its own subway system to get around.

Crafting Azeroth

Crafting Azeroth is an ongoing project to create a complete World of Warcraft replica in Minecraft. It sounds like folly - a madman's dream, really - but it's progressing remarkably well and it's a true triumph of human endeavour.

Mondstadt

This impressive build, which was built to a 1:1.15-scale, took the Skyblock Squad nearly 400 hours. From Mondstadt's iconic windmills to its monumental Statue of the Seven, this faithful recreation is sure to impress even the most casual Genshin Impact fan. Amazingly, this larger than life rendition includes interior spaces like the Favonius Cathedral nave, Diluc's bar and the Angel's Share.

Starry Night

You don't have to be an art historian to recognise the inspiration for this particular build. Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night is considered by many to be the most beloved painting in the world. Welcome to my blog You can find it on t-shirts, travel mugs, and bedspreads, so it was only a matter of time before we'd find it in Minecraft too.

ChrisDaCow was able to match every Van Gogh-inspired brushstroke with his Minecraft texture pack in just one month. This result is astonishingly accurate. Their desire to reproduce the famous post-Impressionist 2D painting on 3D canvas opens up a new way to view this iconic artwork. It's beautiful. We also find it a little frightening to see it in 3D. It's difficult not to imagine Van Gogh's eldritch horror as the starry night.

Elden World

Since its release, Elden Ring has elevated the Souls series to mainstream status, ushering in a new wave of fans. SeriousCraft's Elden World is as much of a love letter as it is a project in its own right. Although it is an adventure-oriented map, it still serves as an impressive recreation for The Lands Between.

The six-kilometre map boasts over 20 different dungeons, including Stormveil Castle, and even includes its very own Erdtree. If you're looking to play 15 hours of Elden Ring outside of Elden Ring, this build has got you covered.

A tribute to H.R. Giger

H.R. H.R. Everbloom Games, a team made up of professional master builders, has created a sprawling tribute that Giger's work.

These blocky reconstructions capture Giger’s spirit like never before, with their shadowed atriums that are vast and their fully-realised space jockeys in their cockpit. Space is a place where you can't be heard.

The Cyberpunk Project

The Cyberpunk Project, while not a perfect reproduction, draws heavily on Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. The skyline of this sprawling metropolis, bathed in neon, is dominated by massive mega skyscrapers as well as colossal Holograms.

The Cyberpunk Project is the brainchild of Elysium Fire, and is so immense it's in danger of causing crashes on older rigs. If this doesn't qualify to be a top-tier Minecraft megabuild, we don’t know what will.

Novigrad

Elysium Fire also built another mega-build that is quite impressive. Elysium Fire’s Novigrad doesn’t look like The Cyberpunk Project. The team uses a lot of inspiration to craft the intricate medieval streets and castle spires.

We must admit that we enjoyed Novigrad's namesake, Geralt of Rivia, but this version includes a hand-built harbour. It is quite impressive, and puts to shame its predecessor. For a truly medieval feast for your eyes, make sure you have the best Minecraft shaders.

Witchcraft and Wizardry

Even though you may not have received your mail, don't let that stop you from attending one the best magical institutions in the wizarding universe! The Floo Network's Witchcraft and Wizardry offers Minecraft Muggles an adventure that is comparable to the best Minecraft mods. It allows them to become students at Hogwarts.

Although you can take classes and study spells, the scale of this structure is remarkable. The school grounds can be accessed from all sides, including Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. Quidditch is also available!

So there you have it. The best Minecraft builds Mojang's genius architects could create.
If you've been inspired to start your own server, check out our Minecraft hosting guide to start building with your pals. Alternately, you can go to Adventure Mode and create your own Minecraft village. However, be aware of the many mobs in the area. If you do get in trouble, you might need the Minecraft recovery comppass to retrieve your items.
