He is also incredibly jealous and is quick to become angry and irritable, which is the reason his brothers stay away from him. Hades


Hades is the god of the underworld. He has dominion over all things that are dead. He is the oldest of the Big Three and arguably the strongest of them. If he were to fight Zeus would be close. In the sky, Zeus would win but in the underworld, Hades would easily win.

After the Titan war The gods created a lot to represent their domains. Zeus received the sky, Poseidon received water, and Hades was granted the earth and everything below. The Olympians, who were hedonists were not interested to be involved with the death. They were not even fond of touching dead bodies or getting close to it. Hades however, on the other hand, had to deal with all the dead bodies each day. He is the only god to actually work. Other gods are lazy or play with their pets.

Hades was more entangled with work as a result. The Olympians were astonished and disdain for this. He had to do his job regardless. It's because of this that the Olympians did not like him. He is the only god with an army of dead at his disposal. He is also a master of the trident.
