Minecraft Did Cars So Crossy Road was the Next Logical Step
Minecraft creators continue to astound with the amazing things they discover working in the sandbox-like block game. It's proved to be a very robust programming platform, as demonstrated by this YouTuber who created an actual car in the game. This player is back and this time they've gone a step further.
Crossy Road is a game in which you play as chickens crossing the road. It could be described as an endless Frogger. It's all about getting the chicken safely but safety never comes. So, fresh off the wheels of making a working car, Mysticat has now recreated Crossy Read in Minecraft because they're a skilled designer, and a bit of a show-off (actually we're jealous).
Mysticat once more goes into details about how they construct this entire build to give you a glimpse into the process. Is minecraft still a thing It's amazing how clever Minecraft creators are, even though I write about it often. The complexity displayed is way beyond what a typical Minecraft player would think.
It all comes together in the final scene with Mysticat inviting her friends to try the actual game. This video illustrates how Crossy Road would be fun even if you were a sadist and didn't have to worry about the deaths of people on the roads.
It's a great conclusion and we're still thinking about what Mysticat will do next. It is possible that we will see the return of Burnout in the event that it's a themed around cars.
