In this guide we will cover the process of setting up your Minecraft server so that in can support multiple different worlds on the same server. Multiverse plugin is used to accomplish this. It requires your Spigot/Bukkit type server to run this plugin. (If you don't have Spigot/Bukkit on your server, follow our guides. Spigot setup - Here Spigot setup -


How to set-up Multiverse


Installation:


Multiverse Core - Download the latest version from - Here to your computer. There are various additional Multiverse plugins which add additional functionality - as shown in the table below. - Multiverse-Portals features:


Create custom portals that allow you to visit any destination! Permissions can be used to restrict users from accessing certain portals. Charge users to use specific portals! Exempt users from portal fees. Launch users through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal! Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals. - Multiverse-NetherPortals features:


You can have nether and end worlds for each of your overworlds. YUROCK Custom nether and end portals can be created in a world to go to a particular world Custom World Scaling is possible with NetherPortals All types of worlds, nether, skylands, and normal are supported! - Multiverse-Inventories features:


Separate players stats and inventories by world or group. Choose what each world shares: Inventories (last location in a world before Teleporting), Hunger Health, Exp and Bed Spawns. For more information, visit the wiki for Multiverse-Inventories.


Login to Gamepanel Click "File manager" to open your plugins folder. On the menu bar, click "Upload". Select the "Multiverse core" .Jar file you downloaded in Step 1 and wait for the upload to complete. Once uploaded, that's it for the installation process, now we need to configure Multiverse so it can find your server's current worlds. Configuration (Importing your current worlds):


Multiverse configuration requires that you are an operator of servers (OP). If you are not already a server operator (OP), then please refer to this guide - How do I OP a player


Login to your server. Type: /mv import WORLD ENV Now, you'll have to replace WORLD with your world's folder name and ENV with the environment type.


There are 3 currently available: normal, nether and end. If you forget these, you can always use /mv env. It will always list these options.
