Minecraft: Pocket Edition now Available on IOS in new Zealand as A Universal App
MineCon 2011 the meatspace-based event for everything Minecraft will not begin until this Friday but that's not stopped some major announcements from coming out earlier. Minecraft: Pocket Edition made the switch to the Android Marketplace last month , following a long time of exclusivity for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play mobile phone. And while those were certainly more green (blocky) pastures, today's jump to iPhone and iPad could open up an even larger world of possibility for the portable Sandbox.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition was launched today on the New Zealand iTunes App Store. This means that one purchase will work on the iPhone and iPad. The $9.99 NZD price will translate to PS4.99 or 6.99 when it is released or the Android Marketplace release.
