Minecraft Hogwarts: How to Play This Cool Minecraft Harry Potter RPG Map

Are you looking for the Hogwarts map in Minecraft? If you're a fan of the huge Harry Potter Minecraft map mod that was made playable in an alpha release earlier in the year. The mod recreates the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a huge RPG and map game within the vanilla version of Mojang's Block Builder. Now you can enter Hogwarts with Minecraft.


This map is made available by The Floo Network, a modding group that created this massive and impressive map. They also announced the Minecraft Hogwarts map's release on Planet Minecraft. "Hello everyone! Get your wands ready! We are finally releasing our brand new map; an interactive RPG in vanilla Minecraft!" the post announces, alongside the reveal of its new 'download trailer', which you can watch below.


The game's name"Witchcraft and Wizardry: The Floo Network', doesn't do justice to what it can bring to the game. Brick-by-brick, virtually all of the iconic features of Hogwarts and the Harry Potter world are faithfully depicted in the video clip. There are images of Hogwarts' enormous, labyrinthine network of classrooms, dungeons, halls, and towers, populated with obstacles, puzzles and of course, magic from the universe of the series. We aren't sure that there is a Minecraft Hogwarts Seed that will magically recreate the Hogwarts experience. How can I unlock the Hogwarts map in Minecraft


Planet Minecraft has a map of The Floo Network's Minecraft Hogwarts. You can download it here. It is important to note that the creators advise Witchcraft and Wizardry is currently only available only with the Java Edition of Minecraft (versions 1.16 to 1.16.4).


You won't be able to play this game if you're using the Bedrock Edition available on PC.


Harry Potter Minecraft features


You may be wondering where you can go in this Minecraft Hogwarts Map. It is possible to explore the charming suburban street of Privet Drive and the entire area of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. There is a massive feast packed with delicious food and candles suspended like magic as you enter the chambers. You will also find many stairs and hallways decorated with portraits of famous students, as well as a library filled with towering bookshelves.


It's not just a simple map as you can cast spells using your magic wand, explore the dungeons of a magical adventure and go shopping with friends in Diagon Alley, or even meet some fantastic beasts like the Cornish Pixies or the terrifying Dementors. You can even play Quidditch!


The map has been updated to include a complete RPG storyline, complete with all the Harry Potter trimmings you might imagine. Everything from buying your first wand, schoolbooks and robes in Diagon Alley to learning your first flight lesson at Hogwarts. We won't reveal any of the major plot surprises however we will suggest that you may need to cast a Patronus Charm in order to ward off any potential baddies lurking under the darkness.

Best of all, in Minecraft Hogwarts' grounds, you'll find the most loved half-giant, Hagrid, tending to his gamekeeping duties.
