'Minecraft Earth' Launches in Early Access This October
Minecraft Earth won't be stuck in beta testing much longer. Mojang and Microsoft announced that the game's augmented-reality feature will be available in early access for certain countries starting in October. Although the announcement didn't mention which platforms or countries would be included in the beta, it did include both iOS and Android users.
Earth is a slight deviation in the basic Minecraft experience. Minecraft Blog You can still create your worlds using AR. However you can also embark upon sharing Adventures that will require you to take on various challenges and monsters in order to obtain rare resources. It's ultimately an extension of Minecraft that invites you to go out into the real world and connect using world-building as the glue.
