Servers are large online worlds created by our partners-nice people from Minecraft. Each server offers its own flavor of fun. There are minigames that allow players to compete or collaborate with their friends (and enemies), large lobbies where they can meet other players, and vast custom-crafted realms to explore.

Get a free Xbox Profile to get into the world of Minecraft online multiplayer


It's easy for you to connect with our official server partners. Simply look for "Servers" in the Minecraft menu on your Windows computer or mobile device. Register for your Xbox profile (no Xbox needed) before connecting. To get a Gamertag, your username and profile in the Minecraft universe. Xbox Live Gold subscribers are required to access all online content.

SERVERS KEEP ALL AGES PLAYERS SAFE WITH CHATFILTERS AND IN GAME REPORTING


Everyone should feel at home in Minecraft! Players must have a free Xbox Profile before they can join server. An Xbox profile includes a player's code of conduct, and because it's linked to real player details, our support teams can quickly act on any reports of bad behavior. Our official server partners, which you find on the in-game Servers tab, also have chat filters that remove bad language, email addresses and phone numbers, keeping your personal deets safe and secure.


Online multiplayer is also disabled for children under 13 years old. We offer child accounts to keep them safe. Online multiplayer is disabled by default for children under 13. They won't have the ability to join Realms and servers unless their parent changes their account settings.
